Feel good Sunday
I am surrounded by beautiful people. There’s no better recipe for cohort bonding than a game of hide and seek, nail polish, 5 seasons of Boy Meets World, truth or dare, sleepover, and the beach (even though the bus ride to Santa Monica was 2.5 hours -___-). I am so encouraged by some of the words and attitudes of my peers. They are the most insightful, selfless, transparent girls ever. I’m really praying that we will continue to stick together through the conflicts and road bumps of the semester. Disagreement will be inevitable and I expect people to get heated in the moment but I think we will do well.
The smallest things I encounter throughout the day give me so much hope and joy. Like a business man paying for a foreigner’s bus fare or someone standing up to give a mother and her child a seat. I have a lot of faith in people and I’m scared that some of the things I’m going to experience this term will take that away from me. I don’t think I’ll let it.
